With generous help from our sponsors, Habitat for Humanity addresses the problem of poverty housing with a positive solution. A sponsorship of Habitat for Humanity represents one of the most visible investments in the city of Detroit that you or your organization can make. The initial investment of time and materials will pay lifetime dividends for the entire city. Help us rebuild Detroit - one house at a time.

A house sponsor agrees to:

• Provide financial support toward the construction of a house. Partial and full sponsorships are available. The cost of a full-house sponsorship is $80,000.

• Encourage company/organization/church workers to volunteer at the sponsored house and see tangible results of their efforts. Working at Habitat has proven to be excellent team-building experiences.

• Stay involved with the project from beginning to end, involving site preparation, construction, home dedication, and family move-in.

Sponsor a Habitat for Humanity Event

If you're an individual, faith group, or corporation, you can also partner with us and sponsor an event with Habitat Detroit. Here are some ways to sponsor an event to benefit Habitat Detroit.

• You could help support a fundraising event where costs such as food, entertainment, tent rental and beverages may need sponsorship funding.

• Our annual banquet is another event that uses sponsorship funding. You could help to sponsor our annual banquet, where your funds may go toward:

• The cost of the hall where the event is held.

• Dining costs

• Printing of programs

• Audio visual equipment rental

• The purchase of the awards

• Floral arrangements

• You could help fund the hospitality events during a Blitz Build, which could include:

• Meals

• Tent rental

• Security and security services
